Our Approach to Yoga:
Yoga comes in many beautiful forms—Power, Buti, Hatha, Vinyasa, Iyengar, Jivamukti, Hot, Yin, Chair, and Yin-Yang Yoga, among many others. Each style offers something unique, and everybody connects differently to the practice. That’s why at the Yoga Barn, we’re proud to offer a multidisciplinary schedule led by a variety of experienced educators.
Accessible & Personalized Practice
Our mission is to keep yoga accessible and supportive for every student. In all of our classes, we emphasize safe transitions, mindful movement, and the mind–body connection. Our certified instructors provide modifications, variations, and adjustments to meet you exactly where you are in your practice.
Inclusive Options: In-Studio, Online & Outdoors
Whether you prefer practicing in our cozy barn studio, joining us on Zoom, or enjoying outdoor yoga classes, we ensure that every session feels guided, personalized, and inclusive.
Yoga is for everybody—and we’re here to help you explore it in the way that feels right for you.
A Practice Guided by Your Inner Voice
We gently remind all of our students that yoga is about listening to the inner voice of your body and learning to honour and respect it.
We only have one body, so be patient with yourself and your practice. We all move differently, and every physical body is unique. Your yoga journey is meant to support you, not rush you.

A soothing myofascial massage will be included either at the beginning or end of the class. We offer a variety of props to keep every posture accessible, along with supportive hands-on adjustments to guide you safely.
Depending on the theme of the class, you may also experience light aromatherapy using essential oils from DoTerra and Saje to enhance your practice.

Hot Sculpt & Flow Yoga
This energizing class blends strength training with mindful yoga flow. Expect a dynamic sequence supported by resistance bands, light dumbbells, and ankle weights to help condition and tone the body.
Through intentional vinyasa movement, you’ll build strength and stability with a focus on the core, legs, and back—all while moving with breath and control.
A Balanced Finish
Class concludes with a 20-minute cool-down flow to relax the muscles, release tension, and support recovery.
Hot Yoga & Mindfulness
Beginners are 100% welcome. This is the perfect class to start with if you’re new to hot yoga and consider yourself an active person. We work the body from head to toe at a steady, accessible pace, giving you the time and space to learn foundational postures while still enjoying a full and balanced practice.
Our focus is not on moving fast, but on moving mindfully—building awareness, strength, and confidence while still getting a good sweat.
This class offers a gentle introduction to a medium/hot yoga environment (25–35°C) and provides the ideal opportunity to move, relax, and learn in a welcoming setting.
Yin-Yang Yoga
Yin-Yang 50/50 offers the perfect balance of slow, restorative work and dynamic movement. We begin slowly on the floor, gently opening and warming the muscles, preparing the body for the second half of the class.
In the second half, the pace increases as we flow through traditional Surya Namaskar (sun salutations) to energize and strengthen the body. This practice is excellent for balancing chakra energy, improving flexibility, and building muscular strength.
Accessible for All Levels
Beginners are welcome
Props like bolsters, blocks, therapy balls, and straps are provided in the studio (please bring a towel for hygiene)
Modifications will be offered by the instructors—please communicate any previous injuries or ask questions as needed
This class is ideal for students looking for a well-rounded, mindful practice that nurtures both body and energy.
Ashtanga Primary Series/Yoga Flow
(Intermediate/Advanced class)
This is an active and faster-paced class based in the name of flowing with breath through Surya Namaskar a & b (sun salutations) It requires to be more physically fit and for sure to know the YOGA POSTURES (asanas) since we move at a steady pace. We use core and arm strength a 100%, more arm balancing postures are practiced in this class and everyone that wants to take their practice to the next level will like this class for sure. If you are planning on starting your yoga practice this class will not be suitable for you since some experience and knowledge about the postures are required. Please be mindful when coming to this class, if you have had previous injuries, let the teacher know so they can help out with modifications for you.

Gentle + Yoga Nidra
Gentle Yoga welcomes everybody to the practice. We begin with slow, mindful movement to warm and stretch the body, and conclude with approximately 20 minutes of Yoga Nidra—a deeply restorative practice also known as yogic sleep.
Yoga Nidra is a powerful, accessible meditation technique. While you rest comfortably in Savasana (corpse pose), the guided practice takes you through the KOSHAS system, promoting a profound sense of relaxation, balance, and wholeness. No lengthy seated meditation is required—just lie back, breathe, and let the practice work.
Buti Yoga
A true workout! If you like to dance, love moving your body, connecting with your breathing, and getting your heart pumping! The difference between the Buti yoga to the Buti + bands is that we just add an exercise band to create more resistance.
BUTI® BANDS is a HIIT-based resistance training workout targeted to LIFT + SHAPE your BOOTY while toning + strengthening the hips. Bands are utilized during high-intensity intervals to challenge the body through all planes of motion while targeting the hips and booty through lateral engagement. During low-intensity intervals, students move through static yoga poses to release the muscle group targeted during the high-intensity interval, at the studio, we add a bit of heat so you can sweat and make this practice a bit more spicy for you!!!
see you in your mat every THURSDAY NIGHT!
Roll, Restore & Relax
A therapeutic yoga practice every Wednesday!
Experience a slow, grounding practice designed to relax, restore, roll, and recalibrate the body. This class blends gentle yoga with targeted myofascial release techniques using blankets, therapy balls, and Pilates balls—supporting core relaxation and pelvic floor awareness.
